Meeting Minutes

17.2. Meeting Minutes — Capturing and Summarizing Meetings

Meeting data sources

  • Google Meet: a dedicated bundled plugin for joining calls, transcription, and follow-ups.
  • Microsoft Teams: a meeting-summary skill, replay jobs, Graph subscriptions.
  • Voice memo: every chat platform can transcribe an audio file that is sent in.

The practical workflow

  1. Meeting ends → transcript or voice memo goes to the agent.
  2. The agent summarizes: key decisions, action items, owners.
  3. Write it to Docs: gws docs create --title "Meeting Notes" --body "..."
  4. Send the summary through the appropriate channel to those who were absent.

Notes

  • For recurring meetings, attach it as a cron job — fixed schedule, runs on its own.
  • Keep the full transcript (stored in Docs) clearly separate from the summary that gets sent (short, via chat).
