Writing

16.2. Writing

No single official “content-writer” skill — a structured process instead

The effective approach per community experience: build a dedicated workspace for writing — separate files for voice/tone, editorial standards, article templates, reference examples, and operating instructions. A clear file structure makes the agent’s lookups more reliable than cramming everything into one prompt.

Building a “voice profile” from your own past writing

The recommended process:

  1. Feed the agent old articles/emails that embody the exact writing style you want.
  2. Optionally add writing by other people that you like, to widen the reference spectrum.
  3. Ask the agent to analyze and record a voice profile: the readership, the point of view, sentence style, recurring themes, editorial rules, and the article types you usually write.
  4. Test it on a narrow task first (e.g., draft only, no auto-publishing), with a human review — expand gradually as trust grows.

Notes

  • Invest in the voice profile early — this is exactly the “skill-ification” of your personal/brand writing style, reusable for every future article, in the spirit of Reusable Procedures in chapter 10.1.
  • Always keep a human approval step in the early stages — even when the agent writes in the right voice, publicly published content should still pass review, especially while the process is newly set up.
